Dr. Casandra Budd is a compassionate and experienced veterinarian who graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She became owner of Tavares Animal Hospital in 2014. Mother to her daughter Amelia and son Henry, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work.

Throughout her life, Dr. Budd has shared her home with a variety of animals – including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles – which has deepened her understanding of animal care across species. Her professional training includes advanced coursework in exotic animal medicine, and she has particular interest and hands-on experience with snakes, tortoises, chameleons, and birds.

Dr. Budd is known for her warm, knowledgeable approach to both pets and their people, and she takes pride in providing thoughtful, individualized care to every animal she sees.
